What is it with the loud high heel shoes

I work in an office that has magnificent hardwood floors but everyone of the girls in this office wear shoes that make so much noise that I cannot concentrate. There is a loud clacking of shoes throughout the entire day. Its driving me crazy.  At today's management meeting I am going to bring this up.  Floors beautiful but interrupts my thinking and my work.  Whoever designs ladies shoes make them loud and I also believe that women like the sound.  Make it makes them feel powerful or  'watch out,  here I come..."  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
